PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

It is with great honour that I begin my term as the President of the WTAS. I would like to express my thanks to all members for your encouraging vote of confidence.
 
I will strive to bring the awareness of the Association to the Construction Industry of Singapore; to create a platform for collaboration and interchanging of views for all related waterproofing matters and its technologies.
 
To use my experience and network of members to bring the Association closer to BCA & other related Statutory Boards; to form an ultimate Hub Centre for Waterproofing Practices & Standards and Technical Competencies.
 
Also, in recognition that Education is the key to building a more professional industry, WTAS will focus its efforts in deepening its working partnership with the BCA Academy to develop training guidelines, skills upgrading programmes, field practices and publication of Waterproofing Standards & Guidebooks in relation to Materials and Installation.
 
I am excited about working with my new committee members to help with the challenging task of achieving greater heights for the Association. I view our collaboration as a team effort and would value all feedback about the Association or information provided in our web site.
